Hilarious! I just read an article in Highlights (yeah, i know i bought it for my kids but i read it more than they do) that has a letter from a reader that is title "My mom says I'm not ready for a hamster. Can you help me out?" Their advice: "If you can do the chores regularly and well without being reminded, your mom (or Mr. Smong in this case) may be willing to talk about whether you are ready for hamster." Good luck!
